CTA

→ Keep one primary action

One primary CTA above the fold. We resisted adding secondary actions because data showed drop-off when we had two buttons.

So that: Fewer abandonments above the fold

UX flow

→ Wizard → single page

We moved the Treasury flow from a stepped wizard to a single scrollable page with clear sections. Users were abandoning at step 2.

So that: Completion much higher after the change

Product

→ Reserve as default

CLIP volume reduction was a product goal. We made the reserve path first-class — inline education, recommended path as default — so teams wouldn’t default to CLIP.

So that: Reserve path competes with CLIP

Visual

→ Metrics = decision support

Impact cards use large, scannable numbers so stakeholders see $ and % in under 2 seconds. No decorative charts — only what drives the next decision.

So that: Faster scan, decision-ready

Accessibility

→ Focus order = visual order

We locked contrast on all new surfaces and kept focus order aligned with visual hierarchy. No custom focus traps; the DOM order does the work.

So that: Predictable, accessible navigation

What we deferred

We had to ship in Q1. So we cut scope to core flow + impact visibility and deferred advanced reporting. That trade-off is documented in the backlog.
